The team at Framingham Pediatrics strongly believes in the effectiveness and safety of all routine childhood immunizations.  Immunizations have dramatically reduced illness and death in children and are one of the most valuable protections parents can provide their children.

We believe that all children and young adults should receive the recommended immunizations according to the schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics to prevent serious illness and to save lives. The recommended schedule is the result of years of rigorous scientific study and data-gathering on millions of children by thousands of our brightest scientists and physicians. We do not support alternative immunization schedules as these are not well studied or endorsed by the CDC or the American Academy of Pediatrics.

We recognize there is an overwhelming amount of confusing and conflicting information surrounding vaccine safety. We can assure you that we have closely studied and reviewed all of these issues. We are eager to discuss your concerns and work with you to get your child all of their recommended immunizations.

We believe it is our responsibility to protect our community from vaccine preventable infectious diseases. Making sure all of our patients receive their recommended immunizations protects children who are too young to be vaccinated or who cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons.

Our practice is not a good fit for families who do not intend to follow the recommended guidelines for routine childhood immunizations.

We are happy to answer any questions you have and encourage you to review the information in the links below regarding immunizations.
